BriefSpire — Beyond the Headline. Less Noise. More Meaning.
Selection: significance before volume
We collect leads in Cybersecurity, Artificial Intelligence and Technology from a restricted set of sources. Publication dates, subject relevance, practical impact and recent coverage help determine the shortlist. Sponsored placements, advertisements and duplicate coverage are excluded where detected. A feed headline is a lead, not sufficient evidence for an article.
Sources and independence
We prefer primary advisories, documentation, research and official data. Primary sources may be authoritative about what an organization did or announced while still having commercial or institutional interests. Multiple pages from one organization do not count as independent corroboration. We distinguish a publisher’s claim from independently established findings.
Writing and original value
A Signal Brief should explain the development in its own words, identify affected readers and connect the evidence to a useful question or decision. We label reported statements, editorial analysis and uncertainty. We do not invent anonymous experts or add generic advice merely to lengthen an article.
AI assistance and quality checks
AI may help draft and review material using retrieved evidence. Automated checks examine structure, citations, evidence anchors, repetition and possible unsupported details. The normal writing workflow requires a separate AI evidence review before saving a generated draft. This workflow remains subject to end-to-end acceptance testing; prepared or manually edited drafts may follow a different documented review path. No page should imply that every draft has already passed the same process. These checks can miss errors. Neither a successful retrieval nor an automated review proves independent verification.
Evidence Explorer and source-check dates
Evidence Explorer connects statements to named source links and labels their editorial status. No numerical verification percentage is assigned. “Last source check” records when the supporting material was accessed; it does not mean every claim has been independently verified. Dated timelines appear only when the source supports the date. Action checklists require source-supported guidance.
Human publication gate
The system creates drafts only. An editor must inspect source accuracy, implications, wording, metadata and presentation before choosing to publish. Inaccessible material is not bypassed, and a failed quality gate must not be presented as a finished article.
Corrections and updates
When an editor confirms a material error, the article should explain the correction and its date. New information should be distinguished from an original reporting error. Send editorial questions and correction requests to briefspire@gmail.com. BriefSpire is the publication name; final publication decisions remain with the publisher. A correction request should identify the article URL, disputed statement and supporting source. No response-time guarantee is made.
Commercial transparency
Any future sponsorship or affiliate relationship must be clearly disclosed. Commercial material must not be represented as independently selected news.
